Family
Thank God, my family is the epitome of real Family Love. And I'm extremely proud to say that this is my devoted brother / father figure / pastor, Dr. Bishop Joseph B. Hunter, and his glamorous wife, Evangelist Cynthia D. Hunter. He's the pastor of our beautiful church in Miami, Florida called Holy Temple Worship Center. They really are two of the most loving, genuinely caring, and truly peace - oriented people I know. Honestly, I've never seen A pastor and his wife as dedicated to their membership as they are. And I'm not just saying that because he's my brother. It is the absolute truth. Although they live in Fort Lauderdale, and most of their members live in Miami, whenever their members are sick, have death in their family, or call for their assistance or guidance, they're both there in person to attend to their needs, even if it's 2,3, or 4 o' clock in the morning. They are there! For they have A true passion for their ministry! I'm so grateful that there's no hidden agendas, they just have A genuine love and concern for the well being of the people. And they literally make themselves available 24 / 7! They are an amazing couple and highly anointed by God. And of course whenever A crisis occur within the family, they're the first ones we all call upon for prayer and encouragement, and we know we can always lean on them for strength and support. And they're the most classiest and most sophisticated dressing couple I know. When our son," Andre" was alive they were like his second parents. He referred to their house as his other house. And he'd jokingly, but seriously tell them that they need to give him A key to their house so whenever he comes there and no one is home, he won't have to wait outside. He was the main drummer for their church, and they actually accepted " Andre" as though he was their real blood child. Really God blessed them to have an extra special bond that surpassed the ordinary uncle / auntie / cousin relationship. So consequently when " Andre" died their grief process was just as traumatic and devastating as it could possibly get, as if he was actually birthed within their immediate household family. And even now they feel as though there's A missing link in their household. Certainly they've been A tremendous support throughout our ordeal, especially since their pain was almost as deep as our pain, so they really can relate to A lot of our heartache. Now on the left side is A much younger photo of them with their three beautiful children. Their son, Minister Toddrick Hunter, who is one of the best bass guitar players I've ever heard! And besides playing at his Dad's church, and his Minister of Music, he's also the main bass player for the head of the Miami / Dade NAACP chapter, Bishop Victor Curry's church in Miami, Florida called New Birth Baptist Church. Toddrick also writes songs. Then there's their oldest beautiful daughter, Zondre Frazier, and her husband, Eld. Micheal Frazier, and their kids, Micheal, Jr. and Trinity, (They're both sitting in granddad's lap. ) She's A songster, songwriter, and leader of the Praise Team. And last, but certainly not least is the lovely Sherran Harris, and her husband, Deacon Micheal Harris, with their two kids, Mashay and Zachius Harris. She's one of the lead songsters at her Dad's church. Although they're grown and have their own families now, they're all deeply committed to their Dad's ministry. I'm so thrilled to know that my brother, Bishop Hunter, not only preaches the word, but more importantly he lives what he preaches about! And to God be the Glory!
This is my handsome baby brother, Minister Ronald Hunter, lovingly referred to as the family clown, and his gorgeous wife, Karol Hunter. Although Ronald loves to joke and have fun with everyone, but when it comes to God, he's very serious. He has A special gift to inspire and minister to others. He's an awesome speaker, and he and his wife has A really beautiful relationship with each other. They have four lovely children, Ronald, Jr. ( left side, back row ), Ashley, Emmanuel, and Jacquan, the youngest." I love you lil brother and sis."
Look at my beautiful sister, Missionary Christola Grice - Hunter, and her precious family. Since my sister and I are only three years apart, me being the oldest, people would frequently ask if we were twins when we were growing up. Although we never could understand why. I was always known as the shy, quiet, easygoing sister. And Christola and my oldest sister, Jacquelyn ( deceased ), were the bold, outspoken sisters that would take on A challenge to fight in A heartbeat. I was the scary one that always called on them to fight my battles. Certainly we've all had our share of problems throughout our lives. Realistically speaking, every human being that lives will have their share of ups and downs. There's no way to avoid it. But unfortunately my sister Christola always seems to have more downs than ups! Since her childhood days she's had to endure more hardships and battles than almost anyone that I personally know of. She really feels that everyday of her life she's literally had to fight for her survival, spiritually, emotionally, financially, mentally, and many times even physically. But because God has divinely preprepared her by supplying her with an overflow of his reserved strength, she's more than A conqueror today. The fact that her son, Durran was the driver and the only survivor of the crash that killed Morgan, Deshawn, and our son," Andre," naturally caused A lot of people to treat her and her family strangely. Most of them didn't consider that her family was just as devastated as we were, in A sense. For I know that I wouldn't wish my pain on my worst enemy, as the cliche goes. But on the other hand, I wouldn't wish their pain on my worst enemy either. Because I can't imagine having to live the rest of my life remembering that I'm ultimately responsible for the accidental deaths of three of my favorite people. And there's nothing I can do to change that fact! Yes, I realize that A lot of people are saying that at least she has her son with her, and thank God that's true, because it would've been even more tragic if all four guys would have died. Certainly there's no comparison between the the pain in either case, and none of us can fully understand why God allowed such an extreme tragedy to occur. But I do know that instead of it splitting our family apart, like so many people expected, God formed an even closer relationship within our family. Indeed my mom and my sister are my very best friends, and I know I can lean and depend on them 24/7. And I personally feel that God has blessed me with one of the best families in the world! And since their mother died in 1993, it almost feels like they're our sons also." Kenny and Toby the two of you have exhibited tremendous strength and courage, and we're very proud of you."
This is Cleavon and my gorgeous little niece, Dr. Chasity Roberts - McDavid. She was recently married to Minister Rico McDavid.
